[male sex toy Aneros, info]

Dear Betty,

I am a long time fan of yours. I love your book "Sex For One." I also bought your book "Orgasms For Two," your video "Selfloving," and the Hitachi Magic Wand from your web site for my wife. Have you heard of the male sex toy "Aneros"? It's designed to stimulate the prostate gland. The Aneros website claims that a male can achieve a hands-free orgasm just from the prostate massage that Aneros provides, but that didn't work for me. What did work was to insert the Aneros and use the Magic Wand vibrator to stimulate the most sensitive part of my penis just underneath the glans.

What happens is that as I massage the underside of my penis with the Magic Wand vibrator, the sensations are somehow mirrored and felt as a simultaneous massage of my prostate gland. The feelings are intense and quite exquisite. My penis can be soft or hard and the sensation of the simultaneous stimulation of penis and prostate gland were extremely pleasurable. I can keep myself on the edge of no return right in front of having an orgasm for an hour or more, while I watch erotic videos. All the while leaking large amounts of prostate fluid from the tip of my penis, before I allow myself to enjoy the release of a very powerful orgasm.

In my opinion, this is such a wonderful male sex toy, that you might want to consider selling it on your website. Just for the record, your work has made me feel better about myself and my life-long love affair with masturbation.

Love, John.

Dear John,

It just so happens that we are currently preparing to include the Aneros as one of our recommended sex toys. My apprentice Eric has been using one and agrees with what you said about how great it is. It always gets my ire up whenever I read something about "hands-free" sex when using are hands is the most prevalent kind most people have. Trying to achieve a hands-free orgasm just from prostate massage would be like a woman trying to have a vaginal or G-spot orgasm from vaginal penetration alone. Leaving out the clitoris is like leaving out the glans or head of the penis, and as you discovered, it didn't create an orgasm. I've yet to try the Aneros but I suspect it might be good for women who enjoy anal stimulation with clitoral stimulation. Check back later on and see what I end up discovering. Thanks for getting in touch.

Betty
