Dear Betty,

I would like my labia majora to be fat and completely enclose the inner lips. Do you think that surgery would be the answer? I just really like that look. However, I do know that it is almost impossible to implant fat and get it to stay. It usually gets reabsorbed and would have to be redone periodically. On this I am hesitant. My clit is invisble when my genitals are at rest but the labia minora hang out towards the bottom.

The only person this bothers is me. My boyfriend has no problems with my genitals and he gives me delightful oral sex. I also wanted to know in all the people you see, do the labia minora hang out on most of the women or do you see more women with the "little girl look?" Also I often wonder why I have a much better orgasm by clitoral stimulation when my bladder is almost full.

Dear Curious,

After nearly forty years of observing women's vulvas, I can assure you that most of us have extended inner lips just like yours and mine. Check out my many drawings in "Sex For One". The "little girl look" has been primarily established by the porn industry to please underdeveloped men's sexual taste. Unless you plan on becoming a porn star, listen to what your boyfriend says. Very few women have what is now called the "Clamshell" as described by the famous plastic surgeon in Hollywood who is raking in the big bucks thanks to insecure women who want to alter their bodies to conform to the latest "little girl look" for vulvas. Please don't mess up your sexlife and your pussy trying to conform to some stupid fashion trend that will eventually fade into history.

Get my book "Orgasms for Two" and look at the diagrams of the internal clitoris or check out YouTube.com where I draw the internal clitoris. Your full bladder is causing pressure on the extensive erectile tissue of your clitoris. Some women and men love the sensation of a full bladder or full bladder massage combined with direct clitoral or penile stimulation. I prefer to empty my bladder before sex and to pee afterward to rinse out any negative bacteria. It's time for you to love your vulva just the way it is.

Betty
