I am 23 years old. I have orgasms by myself fairly easily, I get turned on by reading about or seeing pictures. So I know I am better off than many out there. I started having sex when I was 20. But I never feel anything resembling pleasant feelings during intercourse. I thought this was a bit unusual because it seems lots of women at least feel something. I know many don't orgasm from it or anything but at least at some time with someone they feel something pleasant in there.

I've been with someone I felt connected to, loved and I have been in a couple more casual situations, style, feelings, nothing seems to change how it feels. To me its just like someone touching my arm...just skin. I can't even feel anything pleasant by myself in there. For me its all clitoral and imaging when I'm alone. I can also get off by back massages sometimes. I have visited three gynecologists about it. Not really any help. I was wondering what you suggest I should do.

Dear Pooh: You failed to mention if you get your orgasms using a vibrator, other object, or by hand. You did say you stimulated your clitoris, which is the way 80% or more of women have their orgasms. You also have the advantage enjoying fantasy. So your only problem is that you are a victim of the myth that penis-vagina intercourse will naturally result in orgasm. There is ample scientific evidence that the majority of women do not climax during intercourse, or by intercourse alone, but instead, reach orgasm through masturbation, direct or indirect.
